Do you know about or are you addicted to playing wordle? It is a NY Times owned game that you can access for free that asks you to guess what 5 letter word they have in mind in  6 or fewer tries. You can only play it once each 24 hours and it takes less than 10 minutes to play. For millions of people it is a harmless guilty pleasure . It usually makes you feel a little accomplished each day….better than making your bed. And, it is binge-proof.

How can we use the psychology behind that in other areas of our lives? How can we create small fun useful moments, perhaps to get us to a health or business goal? Perhaps, you would call them small hacks or gamifying boring but necessary tasks.

Here are a few I do:

Brief moments can add up to progress. If you have some, please share. Create wordle moments in your management meetings with a gift card for the one whose proposal is most liked by the team. It is continuous improvement without pain. Enjoy!
