KPI’s around cultural diversity
KPI’s or KEY Performance Indicators are typically used around revenue, profit, and activities that lead to them. They may be used around sales activities that lead to closing a deal – like number of cold calls, number of appointments set, number of proposals initiated, etc. How about using KPI’s to measure culture diversity?
Change the water we swim in
Every once in a while we get the opportunity to look at who we are being as individuals and it can be a difficult moment of awareness. Perhaps in those moments, we can go off in a room by ourselves and rethink our behavior. We can quietly ask for help from colleagues, friends or family […]
Just show up
There is a business proverb that I like to repeat, perhaps more often than others like to hear it: “Showing up is 80% of success in life”. Google says that Woody Allen said it first. Well, there is a lot of truth to the statement, whether you like Allen or not. How many times do […]

Called to Greatness
Americans mourned the passing of Senator John McCain this week with many conversations about his character, his service and his outspokenness. The public was allowed to mourn
Civil Discourse
I have not seen the United States of America, the land I love, so torn up since the late 60’s. The name-calling, the divisions, the neighbor pitted against neighbor….the lack of civil discourse. If this has been planted by the Russians, as they have been accused of doing, then they are winning and we, the […]
